Amul Pays Emotional Tribute to Sridevi: The veteran Actress Sridevi is no more amongst us. Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, at 11 pm in Dubai owing to accidental drowning. Sridevi was in Dubai for the wedding of Mohit Marwah along with Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor. While Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor went back to Mumbai, Sridevi stayed back to spend time with her sister. A day before her death, Boney Kapoor came to Dubai to surprise her for a romantic dinner.
As the family awaits for Sridevi’s mortal remains to be sent to Mumbai, everyone has been paying tribute to the Chandni of Bollywood. Amul took to their trademark ads to pay tribute to Sridevi. In the ad, we see various characters immortalised by Sridevi on screen with the caption, “Woh lamhe hum hamesha yaad rakhenge.””RIP Mrs. India,” the ad continued.
